Drag History
Join Drag artist Jean Decay for this drag history workshop focusing on connecting the roughly 150-year history of drag to Queer/Trans history and radical resistance. Much of the research found is through arrest records and laws enforcing gendered clothing practices. From there, the focus becomes about drag balls, the origins of the Ballroom scene, drag pageants, and notable people throughout.
